Clearly Segura likes the 2-hole. I get the argument that it does not matter that much, but I would not be shocked if he tried to press to hit for more power batting 3rd or 5th. Never made sense to flip him with Harper when they originally did that.

I was thinking about that too. Tough question. Certainly at 1-2 he still has an advantage. After that, if you miss the next one, you might get the same result as the 0-2 pitch. Or a big inning with a lot of baserunners.

Not sure he was really challenging the hitter tonight, just missed his spot a couple of times where they were supposed to either be balls or swinging strikes.
