Yet again, fail to tie this game. Just wish we had a better RH bat off the bench. I was wondering if they would go to Rodriguez or Franco and I don't disagree with going to Rodriguez. Franco surely could have struck out there also. The fourth pitch was well outside but Sean swung and missed, making the count 2-2 rather than 3-1. Might have changed the outcome or maybe not.

Kingery is struggling on his throws from 3B lately. Hoskins can’t bail him out every time.

Kingery throw from deep third bounces perfectly into and off the glove of Hoskins. Plays that are made all the time by ML teams are not being made by the Phillies. Of course, there are misplays made by all but the Phillies seem to make more than the average team.

I think we need a solid regular third baseman. I don't think third is the position we should be playing Kingery.

Another dismal loss.

Great start tonight from Nola wasted.

Phillies out hit Marlins, 9-6 and have 4 walks to one issued, not to mention HBP. Yet only one run. Seems like little going right of late. I hope they return to a more traditional batting order. This one is giving even worse results than the old order.

They now have me longing for a return to mediocrity. At this point, I hope they can still be above .500 by the all star break.
