Haha no. Assuming he doesn't end up on the IL they have to fix him and a day like today is what that looks like. He makes too much $ and is still too talented to just be replaced by a fringier arm.
Also, we don't really have young relievers on the IL. Sherriff is a 32 year-old journeyman. Emanuel is a 30 year-old starter. Only Romero is, and he's a situational lefty who was already falling apart before his injury. Anything he provides this year is a bonus.
There's Coonrod too but he's still on the 60.
It's a day for trash relievers even if Knebel is one of them; I'm just surprised they haven't sat a few position players, though in today's baseball with this team, still a winnable game.
