So damn frustrating. Can’t add on earlier in the game when opportunities presented themselves. Can’t close the game out with our overworked bullpen. Just frustrating!

I have to second guess Kapler on his handling of the pitching tonight. I think he pushed Pivetta too far, but I do like seeing starters go deep into the game. I don't see why Ramos didn't start the ninth.

The Phillies just are not handling the bullpen well. Win or lose tonight, this is another game that disappoints.

Well at least Morgan did not get a win....... I know, I know, I am searching for something positive.

This has been another very frustrating game. The win yesterday was dissatisfying to me due to the terrible pitching in the ninth. Without question, relief pitching has been a sore spot, yet several of the young pitchers in the bullpen have pitched well most of the season. The GM did sign two veteran relievers, but one has yet to get off the DL. Not many trades have been made so far this season, but the trades will heat up as we approach July. I just cannot help but think the bullpen should be better than it has been of late. The fielding has really hurt the team and Knapp not getting that wild pitch knocked down and getting the out to first on the strikeout cost them a win right at that point. You just cannot be down to the last pitch and get a strike and still not win the game.
