Calling that 3-2 pitch correctly would probably have lengthened the umpires' workday. Nearly every close call in the ninth goes the way of a shorter game.

Definitely looked like he had some sort of issue with his back. Not a huge fan of Ben Davis' commentary (the ridiculous offense he took to Lindor's double play throw last night), but he did diagnose why his pitches were all sailing a couple of inches outside to left-handed batters.

Hopefully not too serious. Warmer weather should be helpful if he is nursing some tightness in his back.

More of the same ahead I'm afraid. Figure they can get series wins @Nationals, hosting Tigers and @Athletics, but then they also have Dodgers, @Arizona, Braves, Mets. And @Chicago which they should win but I'll be believe it when I see it. 13-13 might be a good result. 15-11 certainly possible but so is 11-15.
