Had 'em all the way, Harry!
never say never!
Phew!
They complete the 2nd series sweep of the season
Phillies get the sweep.
Stott's 3 run homer brought them back to down by one and they just never gave up. Very positive night for Phillies' phans.
Really nice to come back and to finally take another series. I was watching on delay at 2-1 but I saw a Blue sky post about Rojas that made me realize it was still going good/close.
Was practically a home field advantage for them too.
They say Phils were 11-27 with RISP in the series.
The Phillies are good.
Ok, so I went to sleep a little too early. Stott and Marsh come through, nice to read at 3am
You and me both. Glad for the win, but I'm sure if I had stayed up till the end, I'd have a severe case of heart burn and nail biting. Our relievers weren't great tonight.
Romano and Alvarado were good. Strahm did the 10th inning job without an earned run (luckily had the extra cushion to work with). The bullpen had 0 walks. Just not Tanner Banks' night. But better than the other team's pen!
Nice to see us finally get the sweep. Strahm was a little shaky in terms of the two baserunners. That is now four straight scoreless innings from Romano who has gotten his ERA down to single digits (9.45).
