Why was Hicks in this game?
Kapler addressed the day off thing recently: he said he's not aware of any evidence that one would help, and I'm hard-pressed to disagree. That's just a thing we always think we'll help because it's a change in routine, like a team meeting or even an actual benching.
But - he has to show up on a night like tonight. So does Hoskins even though he's cheap.
One assumes Harper will DH this week, get Williams another start (and Williams will presumably DH too).
