The lineup is obviously not the cause of their woes. It just feels like Girardi is flailing and could do better. I am guessing the Camargo moves are based on some tiny samples, but we really should be playing Camargo against every single left-handed pitcher at some position even if it is not for Didi. And we know Didi is mediocre against LHP. Hey they could have used an extra run last night.
I actually like Schwarber at the top. Bohm seems less about working counts with the bases empty though, so I am skeptical about him there. Would prefer Segura in the two spot eventually.
Also, we need to start resting JT more regularly. Stubbs has 3 starts in 25 games and JT is usually pinch hitting for him in the final innings. This is a pace to start JT more than 140 games AT CATCHER in addition to anything else at 1B or DH. He is playing great defensively but is also slugging .381 which would be his worst number ever except for his 11 game cup of coffee when he made his debut. JT should start no more than 130 games at catcher and it might be better to keep it closer to 120.
