Hammer was very impressive, 94-96 with a number at 96, good location on the FB as well. Slider was high to the first batter, then threw a perfect slider for a K. Supposed to have a good change but didn't show it this game. Looked very calm and collected for a kid in his second ML game.
I'd like to see Kingery be a bit more selective, but when you're hitting .344, well, . . . Night and day from last year, really quick, explosive bat. Hernandez has picked up where he left off before he injured his foot last year, he bulked up a couple years ago and it's showing, but he's also getting better at handling breaking balls, could always hit a FB. With those two, the bottom of the lineup is pretty darn impressive.
