Yes, it was a bad loss and difficult for those of us who followed the action to the end.
Even as bad as the loss was, there were still positive signs. Velasquez took a no hitter into the 6th inning and had lowered his ERA below 4 (3.81 I think starting the 6th). He ran into trouble but even though he gave up hits, the fielding behind him was a little shaky as well.
Santana continued his hitting (2 for 3 with a walk) and Hernandez had another home run. However, his not catching an infield pop up probably cost the game.
