I don't get too worked up about batting orders, and support the idea of letting Stott grow into the role, but I do wonder - wouldn't a Marsh/Turner rotation at the top make sense at this point? Marsh remains red-hot, and Turner still has a career .353 OBP (and .351 as the lead-off hitter where he's also had more than half his career PAs).
I also do kind of think Long's hitting philosophies actually do favor aggression over OBP. Realmuto, Schwarber, Turner and Stott all have lower numbers, than usual, while Castellanos, Bohm and Marsh are also as much BA-driven as walkers.
