We do an awful lot of different lineups, some awful. Why would you put a slow guy with an OBP of .283 at leadoff. The 6 guys after Schwarber have OPS over .300. Admittedly, a lot of less than swift guys among that 6. Of the 6, Camargo the only guy with a slightly lower OPS.

While the way Girardi manages lately is exactly otherwise - prone to changing things up frequently, responding to small samples - I've got no problem with Schwarber as the lead-off hitter. His career OBP is .340 and his OBP leading off last season was .385. So you should probably just stick with him if you think he's suited there and don't have anyone better. Just stick to something, really! (Realizing that Segura tends to be option 2 and he's not playing tonight).
