It was just a completely random set of pitchers though, ALL of whom are better than Walker. And you are even including relievers (Scott for instance) that is an unfair WAR comparison. And suddenly cherry-picked durability counts from a pitcher who spent the first half of his career not being durable.
The first sentence from your article also makes my point. "I don't expect much". Read that. Remember we are talking trade value which is based on recent performance, current stuff, and expectations. He just does not have any trade value even in the small chance he exceeds expectations. And since he does not have trade value we might as well benefit from any upside performance simply because we have replacements on the way if he doesn't in Suarez and Painter.
