I thought one of replays looked like he was safe but one of them didn't. It looks pretty clear that he tagged Taylor's elbow before the hand touched the bag.

Great win, if not a lucky win with the Dodgers' baserunning miscues...or Realmuto still having it in terms of throwing guys out.

Romano is a problem. 1.750 WHIP is bad for a reliever regardless of whether one is a front end or a back end guy. On the broadcast (I was in the car for the last two innings), Franzke and Stocker speculated that he might have had a blister. If so, maybe that will be a reason to IL him and give him some innings with the Pigs.

The Dodger stories today are all about how the Dodgers lost the game and not how the Phillies beat them. Not sure Freeman would have made much of a difference against a tough lefty like Luzardo as well.

Couldn’t be happier they the Phils stay under the radar. On ESPN there is an article of the tragedy of the Dodgers finally losing (I am paraphrasing). The Phillies are barely mentioned in the 7th paragraph.

If our starting pitching stays like this, yea, no problem, Dodgers are so good it is a surprise anyone beats them. Yea. Big surprise.

It was a huge surprise that the #1 defense in the NFL lambasted the great Washington and Kansas City football teams too. Huge surprise.

There's the one angle from the high camera where you see Taylor's jersey is wrinkled, then Turner's tag swipes by and the jersey is briefly unwrinkled, then when the (possible?) tag contact is over the jersey is wrinkled again, like the tag pulled the jersey taut during that moment of contact. Then if you see that, every time you see the replay it seems like a tag.

Then on the low camera you can see that same action now that you know what you're looking for
