They swept the Braves and won the first from Washington...why would you be so frustrated? We’ve had better games, but this is an ‘08-like offense (and maybe ‘08-like pitching). Life is still pretty good for the Phillies.

Man Robertson has been bad so far

Robertson has definitely been mediocre in the early going. Getting behind on counts and not generating swings and misses. He has never had much more velocity, so it seems more a command issue. Hope he works it out.

never fun to lose a winnable game, especially after picking up your ace. And Robertson is definitely the least of all the big-ticket guys so far. But yes, 4-1. Take the Twins series and go right back at these guys in Philly next week.

With this offense the pitching upgrades can probably wait until July. So long as Nola's okay.

Once again, Dominguez is thin-skinned in a tight game while I want our money back on Robertson. He has not looked good at all in two games.

We all knew a loss was coming sooner or later. It always does.

Still, a shame to waste such a great comeback.

On the plus side, the offense again scored 8 runs and did not quit when down early.

Once again, the bullpen fails, although other than Robertson, it wasn't that bad. They had pitched 4 scoreless innings before Dominguez gave up the two, which should have only been one. Of course, it looked like Robertson was prepared to give up however many runs the Nationals would have needed to win today. Clearly, he is a major concern. Something is not right. He has been too good for too long.

The day off tomorrow should be good for everyone. Goal now should be to win series after series and avoid any losing streaks.

Of course, it looked like Robertson was prepared to give up however many runs the Nationals would have needed to win today. Clearly, he is a major concern. Something is not right. He has been too good for too long.

Agreed. He's pitching like he's hurt or losing it.

Klentak should just stop signing ANY veteran relievers. He's not good at it.

I may be way off base, but I think the bullpen will be pretty good this season. I'm not sure if Robertson will turn it around and contribute or not. He has looked bad. However, we all know that relievers can have their ups and downs and can be bad for awhile and then great for a few weeks or months. We will see.

Any word on Hunter and when he will be back?

Klentak should just stop signing ANY veteran relievers. He's not good at it.

Wade and Amaro weren't any better. GM's shouldn't sign veteran relievers to big money for more than one year, period. Relief pitchers are like placekickers. They lose it just like that.

More likely it's the Curse of the Phillies Veteran Free Agent Reliever Signee.

Hunter was actually pretty solid in the end last year. Neshek is good. Hopefully Robertson does not have a physical issue.

And yes of course you rarely win a game with 6 innings of bullpen work but I would have expected one of the middle guys to lose it.

And did we not spend all last year complaining that the bullpen was too green, too much was put on Neris (erratic), Seranthony (young) and a mish-mash of lefties. Everybody wanted either Robertson or Miller or Kimbrel, hopefully we didn't pick the wrong guy.
