Kruk is right, if Alfaro ever learns to just relax and stop trying to hit every ball 500 feet, he's gonna be dangerous - that HR was an easy golf swing on a low breaking ball and went 410 feet.

Think Neris pitched the 9th just to work on his splitter, if he gets it working like that he'll be just fine.

Didn't realize Hunter threw that hard, they're putting together a deep pen with Garcia, Hunter, Arano, Morgan, Rios and Ramos, then you have Neshak and Leiter returning at some point.

Great start to this series with the Braves. Phillies get their 6th win in this ten game home stand, with two games remaining.

I like the way they came back from a rough start from Nola. Hero of the night goes to Herrera for the 3 run homer to tie the game in the bottom of the first plus the solo home run to give the Phillies the lead for good in the sixth. Nola came back with six shut out innings and Hunter and Neris were solid in continuing the shutout of the Braves over the final 8 innings. Alfaro joins Herrera in leading the offense, going 3 for 4 tonight. Herrera (4) and Alfaro (3) drove in all the runs for the Phillies.

Feels good to beat the Braves.

Record now 16-9, back to 7 games over .500 for the season.
