Tough start to the 2023 season. Rangers figured to be among the top AL teams this season, but as my secondary team, I have seen too many disappointing Ranger collapses. Maybe this will be the year they have that great year. A solid manager does help in many ways. That said, I am not giving up on Thomson and the Phillies.
Sure would be great to win a couple in NYC early this coming week.
The Phillies had a slew of extra base hits in Texas. Schwarber hit some deep fly balls for outs. Falter gave them a pretty decent start. I am confident that Nola and Wheeler will have many solid starts coming up. Good to see Soto with a clean inning. This team is much better than 0-3.
