Thoughts:
Stott and Marsh looked clueless against LH pitchers, a few more games like this and the platoon will be permanent.
Romano looked like absolute crap his first few batters, 93 MPH, no command of the slider, BB, HB, didn't hold runners. Then he loosened up, 96 MPH, slider unhittable, tying run came off a bloop off the end of the bat.
They're going to extend Schwarber, looked like he picked up where he left off, zero issue with LH pitching, looked just as comfortable as last season - proof hitters can adjust as they age, especially if they take conditioning seriously.
Casty got lucky, pulled a slider low and away and got it over the IF, but a good hitter pokes it to the right side with runners and 1st and 2nd.
