I just don't understand the thinking. They perfected the strategy in game one. Obviously Wheeler is gonna go deeper than Ranger but don't get greedy, don't try to steal extra outs once he gets into trouble. I know it was only two hits but you are into the middle of the third time through the order.
Surely you trust a fresh and rested Hoffman in that scenario?
Instead of stepping on the Braves throats you gave them an extra life.

In a 7 game series I might understand it more, you don't want to give the other team too many looks at your top relievers but this is a short series, and the Braves are already super familair with Wheeler.
OK I'm gonna stop complaining now!

I wonder if we should’ve pinch hit for Schwarber there with Sosa but I guess you’re hoping he comes up again?

We don’t ever pinch hit Sosa for Schwarber

Yeah actually Schwarber has higher ob% vs lefties than Sosa .

Phillies used arguably their best relief pitchers for the 7-8-9 batters. I hope others can keep the Braves in the ball park.

After a master class in managing the first 15 innings of this series. Thompson has completely blown it.

That TT error really came back to burn us and having RT leave Wheeler in completely boned us
