Well, Bohm has been the only one who showed up tonight with the bat and I'm glad to see he cares. He has nothing to be ashamed about. He may be a mediocre player (which I disagree with), but I'll take him at 3B every day of the week.

It would be nice to see some emotion and passion from the other players too and, yeah, some production would help.

Not mediocre just slightly above average. Agreed, he was practically the whole offense tonight but he was also MIA the rest of the series. Meanwhile someone else posted he was glad to see him show some emotion, but he's been slamming bats and cursing himself all month! I don't think it matters either way. Being tense and eager at the plate certainly not doing them any favors.

Phillies are also going to have to figure out how to develop stars within their own system. Have just completely failed at that the past 10 years. Nola is pretty much the one exception (maybe Stott will be too). No many failures though. I'm glad Middleton likes to spend money, but homegrown talent seems to be a key ingredient to a championship.
