15 of the 16 were out of the strike zone. Not hard to read into.

Harper and all the others have to do better at not swinging at those out of the zone pitches. Walks put runners on base and will force the pitchers to throw more strikes that can be hit for effect.

But easier said than done. I do expect improved performance from the offense tonight.

Watching tonights game (and tomorrow hopefully) in Passyunk Avenue Waterloo in London. I was here for game one against the Braves and there was a good crowd of Phillies fans.
Though that game ended at 2 am local and assuming 3 hours tonights will end around 4.
I expect a messy high scoring game with the underbelly of both teams pitching staff being asked to get a lot of outs.

The big arms from both pens are probably available with the exception of Kimbrel and maybe Sewald but it'll depend on the circumstance and both managers have to consider how to navigate tomorrow's game too.
I think if Thomson sniffs a win he'll use Alvarado but if its tight or were behind well see the likes of Soto, Strahm and Lorenzen.

Garcia hit a 3 run home run in the sixth to give the Rangers a 4-2 lead after six innings. Bullpens pitching now for both teams. Neris came on after a single following the home run. He walked one but got out of the inning without letting the Rangers score more.

I really don't know if the Rangers or the Astros are the team I want to see in the WS. With the Astros, the Phillies would have home field advantage, so that is a real plus. Also, it would be great to have a shot at beating them this season. The Rangers might be the easier team to beat, but they would have the home field advantage against the Phillies.

So I will root for the Phillies to get to the World Series and go on to beat either team form Texas that they end up playing.
