I'm looking for someone in the Philadelphia area that would be interested in partnering with me for a whirlwind, six day trip in August that would take us to:
Hershey Park, Hershey, PA
The NFL Hall Of Fame, Canton, OH
Indians vs. Red Sox at Progressive Field, Cleveland, OH
The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, Cleveland, OH
The NHL Hall Of Fame, Toronto, ON
Blue Jays vs. Twins at Rogers Centre, Toronto, ON
The MLB Hall OF Fame, Cooperstown, NY
Yankees vs. Mariners at Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY
The proposed dates and itinerary would be Tuesday Aug 22nd to Sunday Aug 27th as follows:
Aug 22
Drive from Philadelphia to Hershey, spend the day at Hershey Park, then drive to Canton, OH and check into a hotel.
Aug 23
Visit the NFL Hall Of Fame, then drive to Cleveland, OH, check into a hotel and go to the Indians vs. Red Sox game at Progressive Field.
Aug 24
Visit The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, then drive to Toronto, ON and check into a hotel (for two nights)
Aug 25
Visit the NHL Hall Of Fame, then go to the Blue Jays vs. Twins at Rogers Centre
Aug 26
Drive to Cooperstown, NY, check into a hotel, visit the MLB Hall Of Fame
Aug 27
Drive to Bronx, NY and go to the Yankees vs. Mariners at Yankee Stadium, drive back to Philadelphia.
We would split the costs of a rental car, gas/tolls/parking, hotel rooms, tickets, passes, etc... We would pay for our own food. You would need a valid Passport and driver's license (it's about 1,400 miles of driving, so we'd divvy that up).
A rough estimate of the costs would be:
Rental Car - $150 each
Gas/Tolls/Parking - $135 each
Game tickets - $150 each
Hall Of Fame tickets - $100 each
Hershey Park Day Pass - $60.00 each
Hotels (5 nights) - $265 each
So with food and incidentals, figure around $1,000 each.
