The people who are in the locker room regularly and actually know the players (Zach B, Bo, McManus, McLane) all were positive about Brown's responses to the controversy and said (paraphrasing) that if you want to actually get better, players and coaches have to be willing to point out what isn't working well. They thought AJ was helping that process along, not hurting it.
Everyone has their own take on this, but I personally side with Berman who agreed on the PHLY pod with AJ's position, "âWeâre not in it for feelings. Weâre not trying to hold everyoneâs hand. Weâre going out here trying to do a job and weâre holding everyone accountable. âŚWeâre not in it for feelings. Weâre trying to hold a Lombardi. Thatâs the end goal."
