The people who are in the locker room regularly and actually know the players (Zach B, Bo, McManus, McLane) all were positive about Brown's responses to the controversy and said (paraphrasing) that if you want to actually get better, players and coaches have to be willing to point out what isn't working well. They thought AJ was helping that process along, not hurting it.
Everyone has their own take on this, but I personally side with Berman who agreed on the PHLY pod with AJ's position, "“We’re not in it for feelings. We’re not trying to hold everyone’s hand. We’re going out here trying to do a job and we’re holding everyone accountable. …We’re not in it for feelings. We’re trying to hold a Lombardi. That’s the end goal."
