Seriously overpay for Bradberry In my humble opinion. Honestly, it's a good contract for an all-pro corner, but I'm skeptical Bradberry is going to keep playing that well. I'd guess that means CJGJ is gone. Don't know about Slay; hope he stays!!

I think it is reported as $20m with 3 seasons at $6M, so it really is a 3 year deal. Can't even really restructure later and save much.

Definitely OL depth. The loss of Seumalo and Dillard have put Driscoll and probably Opeta as our best backups. With Kelce and Johnson's age, we need to prepare for injury and of course replacement. We have Jurgens for Kelce, but Driscoll as the future RT is fuzzy to me. Perhaps he slots in at RG when Jurgens shifts over. I think we need the future RT out of this draft or next year.

3rd WR is Watkins who had a down year, but still can stretch a defense and get better. Pascal will stay if he is ok with his role because it will not change unless injury occurs. No idea if he is ok with the role or not, we'll see, but a #4 WR is a easy slot to fill if he goes.

Absolutely need a punter. I guess Covey is decent enough for the the return duties, but it would be nice to have a difference maker there.

The eagles will reportedly release Darius Slay today - post June designation. 2023 cap hit will go from 26.1m down to 8.6m, and over 13m dead money in 2024.

Last year the Eagles cut Fletcher Cox and saved 16m on the cap, then signed him for 14m. If they intend to do something like that with Slay his cap hit would have to be under 17.5m this year for it to be beneficial - i'm holding out hope that they can take advantage of something like that to bring him back, sign CJGJ and Hurts to try to run it back next year, it was nice having two elite CBs.

That said, it would be great if Slay stays. He is a DPOY candidate every year.

I am starting to think that the Hurts contract won't get done this off-season. That is really going to cause problems, but hopefully I am wrong.

If Slay is staying I have to say Howie has "done it again". It is great having the smartest / best GM in the game, it really is. Starting to think Howie should get a plaque in the stadium and maybe even a statue. . I wonder if Lurie walks into his office every day and says "I am sorry about Chip Kelly"

Slay agrees to a 3 year, $42m deal through 2025 that will provide the Eagles with 2023 cap space. Eagles sign former second round CB Greedy Williams to a one year deal worth just under $2m. Williams has lots of talent, and at the very least would improve the special teams.

Eagles sign recently released QB Marcus Mariota to back up Hurts for 1/$5M with possible incentives of another $3M.

Mariota does not count towards comp picks since he was under contract for 2023 and cut. Though that really does not matter since the Eagles seem like they are going to be net 4 losses in any event.

Mariota clear upgrade over Minshew, and the other nice part is my guess he can run most of the plays that Hurts runs as they have somewhat similar physical skills (obviously Hurts much more talented).

Guard Isaac Seumalo will be signing a 3 year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, interestingly joining free agent signing Nate Herbig on the line. Apparently Jeff Stoutland is developing lineman for both the Eagles and the Steelers.
