The opening two weeks are tough schedule wise, because they play a late afternoon game on September 10 and the play on Thursday night just 4 days later, but then they kinda get a mini bye because the don’t play again again for 11 days on MNF.

At least that stretch at the end is coming off their bye week.

The Eagles sign OL Dennis Kelly, yes the same Dennis Kelly the Eagles once had and traded for Dorial Green-Beckham way back when. He's versatile, has experience at both tackle and both guard positions.

One move I'd like to see Howie make is trade for LB Patrick Queen. I'd love to see a Dean/Queen LB duo.

I liked Queen in the draft. The LBs would be small, but they'd also be fast. I hope Dean can step up this year.

Is Nick Sirianni the most underrated Coach in NFL History?

I know it is only 2 seasons, but he has actually exceeded Reid's first 2 years.

Took over a 4 win team.
Gone 23-11 in 2 years.
Went to a Super Bowl and very nearly won it.
Actually changed his philosophy in his 1st season when what he was doing wasn't working. In his first season he completely changed the offense a third of the way through the season and created a VERY dangerous offense.
Took a 2nd round pick QB that everyone questioned and turned him into an MVP Caliber player.
Enters his 3rd season as prohibitive favorite in the NFC
The defense had 70 sacks. 70. That is nuts.
How many current or recent past Eagles have had their career year in the last 2 seasons? Virtually EVERY one of them.

I would sign him for 30 years if he would be willing to sign the contract.

He inherited an underrated QB, a very good OL, and WRs. No... Howie is the one to give praise to.

Giving Sirianni the credit for Hurts just doesn't sit well for me. He was a top rated college recruit and would normally would have won the Heisman (Joe Burrow had the best college season ever).

It's Howie, not Sirianni.

I agree Howie deserves a lot of credit for this team too, but it is Sirianni (and staff) that are designing plays to put Hurts in a position to succeed and frankly avoiding things he isn't great at. He is not the most accurate QB, but the throws he is asked to make are ones where accuracy is not the biggest component. He runs mostly to the outside on designed plays, where his intellect of when to get out of bounds or get down keeps him alive. So many of his throws are quick, 2 read type throws where he isn't going to get hit as often as things like long crosses or deep outs (when we run deep outs Hurts is usually moving to the outside).

I agree that Howie deserves credit, but I still think that Hurts us really being put in positions that he excels at.

This is just so wrong on multiple levels. Hurts is a hard worker. He dropped a few body fat percentages by accident.

Wentz was drafted because he was tall and white. Saying Hurts needing coaching is frankly offensive.

Crediting Sirianni with the success is just flat out wrong. He was given one of the best OLs in the league. A top flight QB, a highly drafted WR, AJ Brown, and Goedert. That doesn't even touch on the talent on defense. It's Howie, not Nick.

How is it offensive to say a 2nd round QB draftee needed coaching in his rookie and year 2 seasons in any way offensive? Truth is, he got a ton of coaching and the offensive system was revised to emphasize his strengths and minimize his deficiencies. No Eagles player has received more intensive coaching since Sirianni arrived. Not a knock on Hurts. That's normal for a young QB. Precious few top college QBs enter the NFL ready to start at even an average level of play. Even early first-round QB busts are legend. You are being absurd. Yes, Sirianni inherited a very good OL. He also inherited a losing team.
