Eagles up next with back to back picks...and 2 of the 4 top remaining players are Georgia Bulldogs. I dare them.

Well, they got a G and a S in Tyler Steen and Sydney Brown.

Now, unless Howie has any other moves, the Eagles don’t pick again until late in the 6th round.

Brown really seems like a good value pick and of cours our exact need. This just seems like exactly the correct pick here. Howie strikes again, I said I didn't like the Carter pick but the other picks seem almost perfect.

Maybe since Howie missed out on a RB, he’ll come up with a trade for Swift, since the Lions drafted Gibbs.

I think Howie made a misstep by not trading up a few spots for O'Cyrus Torrence, but Steen is more versatile.

So today should be about Special Teamd guys, LB depth, maybe a RB with speed that might be able to return kicks. That said, honestly it is probably better to get the best player on the board for any position, these are guys that are most likely going to end up on the practice squad.

Interesting thing is that by all expectations the Eagles pick next year should be near the bottom of round 3 and they acquire the third pick in round 4 -- so hardly any premium. Rule of thumb is one round, right -- so this is essentially a "one round premium" in name only.
