Well, technically we were the last unbeaten team for the second year in a row (by a few hours). Play calling today was atrocious. Whenever they forget to run the ball they get in trouble, I have no idea why we threw on almost every play with the lead, especially when Driscoll was a revolving gate at RT

Seems like there was a lot of blame to go around but I can't remember the last time I saw two missed field goals from that close in the NFL (in college, all the time).

Surely Hurts had a worse game at some point in 2021 but that hardly makes it better.

very poor game. this team has a good chance to go into the Washington game, down there, at 5-2. Howell carved them up in the first game. the Dolphins are licking their chops coming in next week. Brian Johnson better get his head out of his hiney. RUN the ball! take it out of hurts' hands, especially since Lane is out for a long time.

I don't think this was Hurts' worst game. Injuries played a big role, but worst performance from Eagles' OL in recent years. Some strange play calling. Too many dropped balls. The last interception was terrible. Hurts never should have made that throw. Just an awful decision. i don't pin the blame on Hurts overall. He did run too much, most of that forced by the rush -- that tires him out and leads to errors. The defense played well.

On the upside, Desai had a great game. How he managed to not allow a TD (a little hard to blame the defense for the one TD) with the number of injuries on the defensive side of the ball. I don’t even think we had more than 4 or 5 DBs left at the end of the game.

I hope most of these guys come back next week or the Dolphins will carve us up early for Thanksgiving. Bad time to be facing the clear best offense in the league.

With the Jets down two of their top cornerbacks, the Eagles thought they could cruise to victory. Now, they're faced with more injuries and a very difficult schedule. Without injuries, the schedule would have been difficult, but with injuries, I think they lose at least 5 of the next 7 games.

This is a horrible take. The first INT wasn't his fault, like at all. The 2nd was with him being hit. I don't know why AJB gives up on some routes. There were some drops. Without a missed FG, the last INT doesn't happen. He was the best part of the running game.

Clearly Brian Johnson is going to be the new Eagles fan whipping boy, and not without reason.

I get that the issues (including lack of confidence to run) had to do with the injuries too.

Johnson does not have a bad injury, he has a lateral ankle sprain, no structural damage. He may even play this week.

The signing of Scott is a good one as he has slot experience and the team knows him. It also puts the roster at 54, so some corresponding move will have to take place. It seems likely that Roby would go to the IR, but they haven't announced that yet.

The Eagles waived Mario Goodrich in order to get to 53. I have a feeling he might be back on the practice squad if nobody claims him. The good news is that Roby is not badly injured and may play this week or only miss a game.

The Eagles are very thin at WR. At least CB has some talent on the roster.

Not sure I see them as thin at WR. We have 4 starters (when Watkins is back) plus Covey. Ward is on the PS plus Ngata and Allen. Not many teams have a solid guy like Ward on the PS who is perfectly capable of being a #3 type WR and as much untapped talent as might be in someone like Allen as a #7 WR
