I think Fulgham can be a plus #2/3 receiver. He showed a lot last year, but when opposing teams focused on him, they were able to shut him down. That was largely because our overall receiver corps was awful. Smith can draw enough defensive attention to give all of the other receivers a better chance. I think Reagor can be a solid #2. Ward is a solid 3rd and short guy. Smith is the #1 receiver that can make the whole receiving corps work. Also let's face it, 2020 Wentz wasn't helping anyone, not even Ertz. Btw, wasn't he supposed to be traded by now?
Yes, I'm thrilled with the Smith pick. I'm less than delighted by a second round G/C with bad knees. Sounds too much like the sort of gamble Howie loves and usually loses on.
