So, net: #6, #84 and #156 got us #10, #123, and a 2022 1st. Good value. Would have rather kept 84 and given up the round 4 #6 but gotta do what ya gotta do.
This from another board is an even deeper dive into all the trades:
If you really want to expand it (the 5th we traded in the trade back was the result of a series of trades last year during the draft):
Out:
Carson Wentz
2021 6 (Jaylen Waddle)
2020 146 (Tyler Biadasz)
In:
2021 10 (DeVonta Smith)
2021 123 overall
2022 Conditional Colts 1st
2022 Dolphins 1st
2020 196 (Shaun Bradley)
2020 200 (Quez Watkins)
2020 233 (Casey Toohill)
I don't mind what the Eagles did at all, but I think the Giants trade down was better than the Eagles trade down and think Parsons and a 3rd might be better than Smith. I really hope that Smith and a future 1st is better than Sewell, but I really like Sewell.
Now to the positive. Smith won the Heisman with crazy numbers the last two years. And the draft board today looks good. Here's what I have:
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB/S, Notre Dame
Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia
Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia
Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU
Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama
The other corner from his team ran a 4.29, that's the only problem, Campbell would be fine at 37, so would any of the other guys you listed and also Samuel Jr. would be a good fit. I think the d-backs are the focus in round two, there is still strong CB and the best S in the draft are still on the board, so I would be happy with Moehrig, Samuel Jr. or Campbell. I'd like LB Jabril Cox in the 3rd.
