Well, who knows if this means they (the pundits or the team) will turn out to be right, but it certainly shows they didn't make any unconventional picks. Basically chalk 1-3 and great value 4-6.

I'm sure, as with baseball, all teams have similar data valuations at this point. Or not, given McPhearson and Gainwell weren't taken higher!

Well, that certainly aligns with what PhillyChuck posted. The way Brugler sees it they got a #6 at 10, two third-rounders in the fourth and fifth round and the 126th-best player at 189. Plus almost exact value in the 2nd and 3rd.

I am happy with the quality of the draft, I think they did a good job getting value.

I would have liked to see the Ertz debacle end, but if they didn’t get offers (apparently Indy is out having drafted a mid round TE). Can’t really fault them except to say that the team shouldn’t be so obvious it is trying to move someone, it kills their value.

We desperately need help at CB and Safety. Not enough was done, but frankly this team had so many holes that you can’t fix them all with one draft.

I like bunching 2 late picks in a weak draft for a 5th rounder in next years. We fleeced Washington (again, it is easy).

Very impressed with the undrafted FA, seems like we really got a nice group with some of the best available at some positions.

Young coaching staff, young team. We can hope this is like Andy Reid’s first year where we were CLEARLY growing a strong team. This year is going to have a lot of losses, don’t kid yourself, we are not close to competing. Even 4 wins might be tough to duplicate, maybe if things go crazy well we win 8, but my guess is 5-11.

We really need a couple TE. Maybe some type of hybrid TE/WR? Worth looking for guys that don’t really fit either position.

I hope there is a place for Mailata. I think he might be a very good player. Maybe it is time to move on from Lane Johnson? Surprise trade?

Please someone give us a late pick for JJAW. He isn’t an NFL player by any stretch of the imagination. Guessing he is just a release.

We have a very young and athletic set of LB. it is very questionable if any of them can play at all. Maybe find a low cost veteran to add to the group? That position room is probably badly in need of leadership.

I love the Dickerson pick if it works. This is the kind of guy that leads you OL for a decade. If it works. It is a big risk. Love the pick.

There was no way of avoiding the Eagles having a lot of holes this season. The roster was too old and too depleted for a one-year turnaround. The Eagles will be bad this coming season. i am prepared for that. In this rebuild, it likely is necessary for them to be bad, so that we get a top draft pick. I'd sooner we be bad on defense than on offense, because we need to determine whether we already have our new franchise QB or will need to draft him next season.

I think Mailata starts at tackle this season. So does Lane Johnson.

I don't think Mailata will be handed the job, I think there will be a competition between him and Dillard for the LT spot.

that's the 2022 cap, and every increase would help the Eagles because Howie has restructured so many contracts and moved money into future years. Plus Wentz's 34 mil is off the books next year, so they should be in good shape. If Hurts is just average this year, and Watson gets past his legal issues, I could see the Eagles trading for him next year and that would be a big chunk of the space they will gain.
