Sad to hear about Ed Van Impe. Even though it was over 50 years ago, we haven’t lost too many of those first Flyers championship teams. Barry Ashbee died very young, and we lost three of my favorites, Rick MacLeish, Cowboy Flett, and Ross Lonsberry. Anyone else?

Van Impe was the funniest person in the documentary on the Broad Street Bullies a few years ago. Let’s just say his language matched his style of play, everyone else could be interviewed about the teams “reputation” but they really couldn’t include much that he said in the discussion.

Funny you say that. In law school, I took a jurisprudence class and each student had to write an analysis of a particular judge's decisions and analyze whether he was in the legal positivist, natural law theory or legal realism. Souter was legal realism all the way.
