Never heard of him. We listened to WCFL, after dark... and pretty much nothing in the daytime, being in central PA! (It was bad enough that we installed 8-track players in our cars...)

I know that feeling. Our only rock station was a daytime one, that went off the air at 4:30 in winter. I don’t remember Pigg in San Frqncisco., because most radio was AM. I would listen to Wolfmqn Jack from Salt Lake City and When I visited relatives in !Los Angeles, Cary Casem (sp) who did the top 40.

I went to high school in the Jersey suburbs on NYC and was fortunate to have wplj playing such great music at all times of the day.
