I thought the sky was the limit for Stone myself. I saw him get his first ML hit on Fan Appreciation Night in September of 1983, a triple. Man, he sure got around the bases! I always thought that Felske kind of messed with him and his confidence but, at the same time, it's entirely possible that when he made it to The Show, the more advanced scouting and eyes at that level discovered his fatal flaws and exploited them, just like Domonic Brown whose career went in reverse after his first taste of the Bigs.
