Yes, only two more weeks without baseball!
I just realized Romero pitched a total of 95 games in 2008--81 in regular season, 14 Postseason, 68.1 IP in total. And then the World Baseball Classic the following spring. No wonder he pulled up lame in 2009 and was never really the same again.
And his contributions were important beyond the IP pitched. His 2008 1.6 WAR was 10th on the team.
And, in honor of his recent HOF election...
