Theyâve had tests for over a month. Many University Hospitals devised their own tests, but they could not use them until the FDA approved. Feds were sayinG only use CDC tests. Then, there is the second issue of having labs process the tests quickly. Plus, you had the issue of who pays. Hospitals and labs waiting to see who would pay before they agreed to run large volume of tests. Remember we are a for profit, private medical system paid for by insurance and the federal government with lots of uninsured.
A-town, Trumps proposals sounded good. Freed up money, cut red tape, pay for needed supplies and work with private sector labs. Who knows about the Google website? It was kind of pathetic dog and pony show, with Dear Leader mixed in with Trump wandering off script and not being able to answer some questions. But for the first time, I felt like his officials forced him to take action, which he reluctantly did. I guess yesterday the stock market scared him.
