Abel seems to be settling down. Reports have him in the 94-96 range most nights and holding that velocity pretty well into the 3rd or 4th inning. Imagine they are just working on overall command and consistency now. Getting a good 20 start / 80 inning season with progressive improvement is likely the goal.

Rain again forecast in the Northeast--getting the games in with this weather at LV, Reading, and JS might be difficult.

My son and oldest (10) grandson are headed up to LV for the double header. they had tickets for last night and received the same ticket spot today. they might get some game in, maybe all. who knows. i'll see if i can get some report.

Looks like they are all playing. Jankowski pinch hit for after 2 plate appearances. Wonder if he is being called up. If Bryce is not ready and they don't want to bring Moniak back it probably makes sense though would be better if he were right handed.

He’s improved, but all of his pitches looked very average.

It looks like they’ve shortened Damon Jones delivery to the point that it looks like his picking up his leg and putting it right down and throwing with all arm. Even when he threw the ball hard his fastball didn’t look like it had the life it used too. Didn’t help his control any tonight either.
