[size=150]PHILLIES PLACE LANNAN ON DISABLED LIST[/size]
Left-hander John Lannan has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained quadriceps tendon in his left knee, Senior Vice President & General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr. announced today.
Lannan, 28, posted a 2.77 ERA and held opposing hitters to a .177 batting average through his first two starts of the season before allowing six earned runs on eight hits in 1.2 innings in Cincinnati last night.
