I would leave Castellanos batting where he is, he seems very comfortable there. I would swap JT and Bohm though.

I wear earplugs to the playoff games. anything over 85 is damaging. most concerts are between 85 and 105.

The Rangers, all of the sudden, are white hot. They are undefeated in the Postseason (six straight wins, going on seven) and prior to then, won eight of eleven to close out the regular season. Hopefully, like the 2007 Rockies, the are blowing their wad before they get to the WS!

I just noticed the DBacks have not lost yet in the playoffs. Also the Rangers. has there ever been a World Series between 2 teams that have entered the WS perfect? hopefully don't see it this year.

As we've often seen/said of the Phillies, I think the Rangers might regret leaving some of those runs on the table in the first.

It did indeed get close.

Got a whole other team to take care of first but this Rangers team is scary. Maybe they'll sweep and cool off (though of course we don't want a long series ourselves if possible).

Very happy with the win last night, but I think we missed some opportunities and the Diamonbacks can be relatively happy with the overall outcome.

We didn't manage to chase Gallen, he pitched 5 vs Wheelers 6. Their bullpen wasn't very taxed, and all their best arms will be fully rested tonight.
I'm sure Kimbrel (16 pitches) and Alvarado (15 pitches) will be available, but their pen is definitely going to be fresher tonight.

You don't want Kimbrel to face the same guys today as he did yesterday. If you use him, you should mix up the place in the lineup where you use him if possible. Same with Alvarado. Shuffle who they face, even if it's not ideal lefty/righty. Does Orion get the 7th tonight if things go to script?

They really haven't given Orion any big spots. His only significant appearance was in what was essential a bullpen game (Ranger's first start) where they'd already used three of the top four relievers early .They gave him the 7-8-9 hitters and then made the mistake of letting him go back out to face Acuna. You would think it's coming though.

And we already know they'll pitch Kimbrel in the 7th or 8th if necessary so it all depends on the score and where the Arizona order is.

Also tricky to find a way for Soto to face Carroll unless there's already two outs.
