MLB has placed Trevor Bauer back on Administrative Leave from March 13 to March 19. He will not be reporting to @Dodgers spring training prior to the 13th. He still may be suspended. IMO-MLB has to make a decision regarding Bauer ASAP.

Seems to me that is the bar for pitchers the Phillies aren't interested in. Worse/cheaper than him, hopefully better than Moore/Anderson. Really, they have to sign another Moore/Anderson except be right about him. Otherwise you may as well go with a minor league deal guy.

Right-handers J.T. Ginn and Adam Oller are headed to the Oakland A's from the Mets in the Chris Bassitt trade, as others have reported. Ginn is a big, big arm and Oller, though 27, really turned a corner last year and should be big-league ready. Either way, Bassitt huge for Mets.

Maybe I’m underrating Sanchez but seems like the Yankees got the best of that deal.

I assume the Yankees picking up Donaldson's contract ($50 million over 2 years) was just as important as the playing talent.

The Twins are in the mix for Story apparently and this would allow them to do that.

Interestingly there is no difference at all going on ZIPs projections from Fangraphs. Only one forecast and forecasting will never be perfect but I guess it comes down to which players will beat/fall short of their projections. The money matches pretty closely as well.

It was a salary dump by the Twins. They are now looking at Trevor Story and Jose Miranda, who is there 2020 Alec Bohm prospect. So they got younger and saved money and shouldn't see to much drop in offense.
