They've surely got to release one of Anderson or Velasquez once Eflin and Coonrod come back. Moore is needed in the pen. Vince is already pretty much being stashed (that must be some blister). But two of Herrera, Jankowski and Williams are clearly going to finish the year as our CFs, unless Bonifacio sticks.
And why would Didi go on the IL (legitimately)? He's had a disappointing year but he's still one of the 26 best players. Just not the unquestioned starting SS. But we also don't have an unquestioned starting 3B so Galvis will be there too.
Seranthony probably just goes back on the 60, as a failed rehab, he just doesn't seem likely to be one of the best possible relievers (maybe not even if it's him or Vince).
Vince still wound up contributing this year, though it literally wound up being replacement level. Doesn't mean we would have rather seen Sanchez or Medina as the extra starter, though maybe Suarez would have gotten his chance sooner. The failing there was not giving him yet another chance but tendering him and signing Anderson and Moore in the first place. A failure of both scouting and spending. But they weren't wrong to keep him, realizing even six starters wouldn't be enough.
