Now we need for the Phillies to put in place an organization of this calibre -- one that can match the organization the Dodgers built, or Tampa Bay. This makes the Sixers interesting again. The commissioner bullied them into ending the process and giving us seasons of frustration.

And of course the Sixers spent almost an entire off-season with no GM at all - and arguably two full seasons, if Brand was never truly in charge. But they could at least rest on the laurels of some success, particularly last year.

Well, that's what I'm saying/wondering. I doubt they are gonna go two years with just ownership and a patchwork of people running things, but they have certainly said they're willing to go one.

Good Morey interview. He is a very pleasant guy. Hard to imagine him being a tough negotiator in trade talks or telling a player to shape up, but he's easy to like!

Sixers came up with new Black Jerseys.

For some reason it looks like they let a kindergarten class draw on the middle of the jersey and then for some reason kept it. The black is good, even the goofy liberty bell in the belt isnt that bad, but the graphics in the middle are laughable.

I think the boathouse logo is great, the block font is kind of dull. I can take or leave the black but that was obviously a big part of what the wanted.

I like boathouse row with the TTP hidden in it. I don't like the number being so big, and I think Philadelphia should be on top in script with a small number under boathouse row, on the right side with the big number on the back under the players name. It may have been too gawdy, but I would have have also liked to see boathouse row lit up in red and blue.

The TTP is genius. Did someone uncover that or did the team openly point it out in the release?

People are not liking the Blazers' uniforms much up here, mostly because they say "Oregon." But I wonder if McCollum had some input on the color.

They don't own the trademark for "Trust the Process" being printed on clothing and that is the reason it's suspected they won't admit to it.
