For the game against the Sixers; I was unclear!
The only reason I tripped on it is for a second I wondered if Seth had somehow wound up available (but he never played for us either. Watched him a lot last year since I live in Portland).
We've lost some ground on the Heat but hopefully the schedule/health will still get them to 4 (and away from 6) in the end.
Nice road win at the Kings without Simmons, Embiid, and Richardson. Horford, Milton, Harris, Burks, and Neto were big. Especially Horford, who was +41.
any updates on Embiid?

So Embiid is eyeing a return to action next wed. against the pistons.
With Richardson and Embiid scheduled to return tonight, it's being reported ben simmons will be reevaluated in 3 weeks so hopefully we'll see him in April at some point.
I guess suspension of the NBA season is good for the Sixere right now.
Good for getting the Thunder pick. Good for Simmons recovering by playoff time and not missing games. Bad for improving seed, but many are happy with the 6-seed.

Season is suspended, not cancelled (yet).
Mark Cuban says the NBA season could play into july if they get the green light.
The season ends in june due to TV deals but can be extended.
This certainly makes sense. If you're going to lock things down for a while, extend them on the other end. NCAA doesn't really have that option.
I suspect they will cancel the rest of the regular season and start with the first round of the playoffs when the NBA returns - most of the money the NBA makes is made through the playoff so they wonât want to shorten the playoffs at all.
I dont think they wont make up some games...even if it's a 10 game schedule. You'll want teamns to play games prior to the post season. The NBA wont have to compete with any sport for arenas at that point.
There's a new book out about the Sixers
I read "Tanking to the Top" last week...it's not a lot new to most of us who are Sixers fans, but it's well-written, and it's nice to have everything in one place. Weitzman isn't as pro-Hinkie or pro-process as most Sixers fans and he doesn't get some of what Hinkie was trying to accomplish in terms of building a winning culture. Still a good read.
Reports are that the Knicks want to hire Elton Brand as GM. Brand has one more year left on his contract, but NYK were thinking that he may be fired after this year's postseason. Ummm....I'd let him go now.
Same here - however, who's the successor? If there are better ones, why wouldn't NY hire them .... never mind, I know why
If Elton leaves, could he take Horford contract with him?
If they want Elton, who is under contract, they need to ship a draft pick down I-95.
