Embid is back! Sixers with a much needed win over the Pacers. Looking at the Pacers remaining schedule vs. the Sixers remaining schedule, I looks like the Sixers will have a better shot at the 3 seed and avoid the Celtics in the first round. However they might get the Nets, who have done well against the earlier Sixer teams this year, but now with the current lineup, they should be no problem.

And they might get the Pistons, who have been very hot lately and have Blake Griffin, who lit up the Sixers for a career high earlier in the year. The playoffs are not easy.

Good news on Smith. Sloppy win over Cavs last night, but Simmons getting better at the foul line, good for him.

The turnovers continue to be a multi year trend; I guess it is who they are unfortunately. Have to hope they can overcome it in the playoffs.

I know he isn't a sixer but Lou Williams has now scored more points of the bench than any player in NBA history.

Really nice win in Milwaukee today.

Jimmy butler and joel really stepped it up in the 4th.

That was playoff basketball. Sixers had control for almost all of the game, Brown did a great job of calling timeouts just when it looked like the Bucks were making a run. They let the Greek freak get his and clamped down on everyone else.

Brogdon out for the Bucks hurt them. Still a really quality win. Showed the team can do things in many different ways. Balanced scoring last game, JoJo and Jimmy today. And then Harris or Redick can go off, too.

Sixers played very good D in the second half, and the Bucks still almost won. That would be a great series if we get there.

Even though it got close here and there the sixers were in control most of the game. They had an answer for everything the bucks had. That's only the 6th home loss for the bucks.

Sixers would play Indiana if the season ended today.

Sixers would play Detroit, followed by the Raptors, followed by the Bucks (if the favorites win) if the season ended today. They have the 3-seed, Indiana has the 4.

The Celtics will likely pass the Pacers for the 4th spot. I'm not worried about any Sixers first round opponents, but for the second round, I think I'd rather play the Bucks than the Raptors, for that to happen, the Sixers would have to drop to the 4th spot and the Celtics to finish 3rd.

Be careful about the Bucks, if they get Brogdon back for the playoffs. I doubt he will be ready for the early rounds but that would make the Bucks much tougher. Indiana is toast-- their schedule is very very challenging. The Celtics are playing like my dream for them--LOUSY! They will be as good as they allow themselves to be and they have a coach who might get them to row the boat in the same direction. Right now, it ain't happening. They are their own worst enemy, myself excluded!

Huge come from behind statement win over the Celtics tonight. It means nothing for the standings but its huge for belief. Sixers coming off a back to back, and they were down 10ish points all night, 15 at the half. Marcus Smart got himself ejected for a ridiculous shove in Joels back very early in the third. Jimmy had a huge three with less than five seconds remaining to all but seal the win.
I think I heard them say Joel had a career high 22 rebounds. He had a huge one just before Jimmys three when the Sixers were up by two. Decisive.

Certain good that we won, but without Heyward and then Smart and Baynes for large portions of the game, not sure it really gives me much more confidence. YMMV.

And we were on the second night of a B-2-B with travel. You can only play the guys that are on the court, which we did.

Exactly. They had to grind out a win last night and come back for the celtics the next night.
