Not a great one tonight despite the 0 on one side. Third period feels endless.

They were the better team, the PP was frustrating and the last three minutes were sure hairy (but entertaining). Congrats to Carter Hart!

They have to... they have no legs to get to a puck. The last two games have been so different from the rest of the restart. No more open/dynamic plays...just dump, make a pass, and hope someone can make a play.

Carter Hart was solid tonight, but he really wasn't challenged much. The Habs really aren't that good.

Sitting Farabee and Ghost was a mistake, IMO. I am down on Hagg in general and maybe it was ok to play him if you want to focus more defensively, but the team had no offensive push in game 2 or 3 and that is something that Ghost can give you. He's been a disappointment the last few years, but has been decent since the restart. Myers made more defensive mistakes than Ghost in game 2.

I hope to see more spirited play on Tuesday.

It's not surprising the Habs are sharper after a more intense series of games (and more games). It's also not entirely surprising the Flyers were a little complacent Friday. The PP did like it could use Ghost. I think it's good to have Raffl back, maybe Farabee for JVR?

They aren't that good, but momentum and Price have obviously been worth something, and losing their coach was a bit of an X factor. Most predictions I saw said Flyers in 6 but if they can find another level Tuesday five should still be doable. You just don't want to get to 7 (against any decent goalie or underdog team, really).

The Flyers did squander a few early PPs (not saying Ghost would have helped, but he couldn't have hurt).

Farabee has young legs, a high hockey IQ, and is skilled offensively and defensively. He could be used on pretty much any line. He's going to be overmatched sometimes, but is too versatile not to play. I understand the argument for Raffl/JVR/Farabee, but I think Farabee is the only one out of those three that can play on the top line. It just seems wrong not to play him after the first game (as long as all are healthy).

Even though I'm not a fan, I can see how Hagg would fit into the scheme tonight. Not sure I would have done the same, but I get it.

I just want to see better hockey.

Hadn't heard about Hawerchuk. I enjoyed his brief Flyers stint.

Crazy that Hart only had one shutout before this series and hes managed back to back shutouts here.

Also hard to believe the Flyers won a day game. Looks like the got this series. Meanwhile the Capitals are a tire fire and are down 3-0 to the Islanders and could be eliminated tonight. So the Flyers would have likely have the Islanders next if both series go as it looks they will, unless somehow the Blue Jackets come back and win their series against the Lightning.

Isles will not be an easy series if we get there. Gotta finish off Montreal first, though... if some of their posts start bouncing in it could get scary...

Fluid as it may be, suddenly the Flyers look as likely (if not more so) than the Sixers to be playing games in May.

You see the sixers losing in the 1st round?

Well, neither of them played in May, anyway.

That turned into a tough (and feisty) series, very glad it didn't go 7.

Flyers luck out and win quickly in OT.

Now seven games against the Islanders this season and the Flyers have won just one game, in overtime. Can't see the Flyers winning three straight unless Hart goes postal and shuts things down.

Win the home game and try and get it to 7

Isles are a buzz saw in the bubble. Can't find a way to score on them.

Flyer's top players are really struggling--they don't even look comfortable on the ice.

I'm liking the Farabee-Hayes-Konecny line. Farabee is an incredibly smart player. Reminds me of Couturier with a splash of Forsberg passing.

Aside from Couturier, the top line is struggling. Giroux hasn't done anything since the restart. However, the real issue is the bottom two lines which seem useless. I wish Frost would have been an option. You could put him on the top line and move Voracek down to make a feasible 3rd line. Losing Lindblom and Patrick really hurt the depth of the team.

The bottom lines seemed like their strength in the preliminary games. But they were outworking and out-defending everyone back then. The Isles are just a classic Flyers thorn - never mind the '70s, it is Trotz and Lamoriello now.

If we'd said second-round loss in October that would have seemed fine. And despite the #1 seed they might have been better off playing in April (even though it seemed like it might help them get Patrick back, and Lindblom may yet return).
