Yeah, I know; it has, for several days... but until we see a signing photo, or he's listed in the transactions, or his signing is reported by Callis/Mayo/Collazo, etc., I'm reluctant to mark it "done." Draftees have, on occasion, failed a physical. Stuff happens.
Or...further speculation on my part here. Dawson may need more than the $150k slot value, and freeing up that additional money may depend on nailing down Brian Walters - he's a senior, won't get his slot value...but maybe he's holding out... for something like $25k, when they can only afford $15k, in order to have enough to sign Dawson?
Schaefer is a lost cause, but we pretty much knew that; he would only get offered big bucks if Fisher somehow fell through.
