I kind of doubt it. The actual relievers (and starters) in those blowouts contributed plenty. And what about when the reverse has been true (our win against the Dodgers, for instance).

I'm just saying, while it's not data, right now this looks like a .500 team that has occasionally played above its head and benefited from a lot of one-run wins (that have turned into losses lately) rather than a .575 team that isn't getting measured properly by run differential.

Formula now says Phillies should be 67-67. 580 for, 576 allowed.

Also, they are exactly 19-19 in games decided by five runs or more.

10-9 in shutouts.

21-14 now in one-run games.

As of 9/20 (prior to tonight's game), the Phillies have scored 650 runs while allowing 657 runs

This is the first update I believe that the Phillies have been under water in the RS/RA category all season

Their current W-L record stands at 78-73

Their pythagorean W-L estimate states they should be 75-76
