Well, we have to wait for the US Supreme Court. If they uphold this... well, I have a bottle of Prosecco that's already chilled and waiting!
Note that keeping Trump of the Colorado ballot won't make much difference - he isn't going to carry the state under any likely circumstance. But if the determination that he's disqualified under Amendment 14, Section 3, stands up, we can expect other states to take similar actions - and some of those states - swing states - are crucial to winning an election.
If this happens, and happens relatively quickly, it could motivate the Republican Party to find a different candidate. DeSantis, I think, has pretty well established that he's not a sensible option (he's a horrible campaigner, and his policies and actions in Florida are costing him dearly even in what used to be a very favorable electorate). Haley... well, it will be interesting to see how she fares if she's seen as a real alternative to Trump. She has not, as yet, received the kind of full-bore inspection (autopsy?) that presidential front-runners typically get (the kind of thing that should have affected Trump in 2016, but which, due to the peculiarities of cult worship, did not). I don't know whether she'll stand up to that kind of scrutiny or not (you never know until it happens).
Regardless of the politics, though, enforcing the 14th Amendment is fundamentally a matter of justice, not politics. If the Republicans can settle on a candidate without too much baggage, they might have a better shot at winning in 2024. I would prefer they don't win in 2024... but if that's the cost of driving a stake through the Trump neo-fascism... well, I'll take it.
