Jazz, let's be clear. The statements of "fair-mindedness" that you put forth very often lack substance and clear reasoning, and sometimes (as with your list of bullet points above) take form of open statements for which you're begging a conclusion that simply does not follow for those that employ clear, critical thinking.
In those instances I'm careful to say your statements seem like the sort of thing put forth by the Fox News corners, because I've seen firsthand what is churned out by those sources. It's angry, irrational, agenda-driven dreck that may sound good with the right polish to those that want to believe it, but easily seen through by anyone caring to do objective research.
And since you have tried to position yourself as a more responsible political thinker that's above the petty fray of the common political culture war, to continue to espouse shallow takes on these issues - for which there is much more nuance readily available for those wishing to have serious discussion - is, if nothing else, disappointing.
In civil, productive debate the onus for supporting your claims falls upon you. It's not to deride those that would point out a lack of substance behind them with quips like, "if you're being honest you'll acknowledge my point", or "grow up, could you?"
