I always seem to see the debates differently than the media. I remember the debate in 2012 where Romney was said to have won, and I had thought Obama had beaten him. (I was in the hospital recovering from surgery; so maybe the anesthetic hadn't worn off completely...)
Last night, Trump was his usual crazy self and spewed outlandish lies, but that's nothing new. But I didn't think Harris rook advantage of all her opportunities. Someone upthread mentioned her failure to deny weaponizing the government to prosecute Trump; that struck me at the time, too. I also thought that there were times she could have more directly called out some of Trump's most outrageous statements. IIRC, she simply called his pet-eating comments "extreme"; I would like to have seen her say more directly that anyone or simply spouts internet rumors as truth--or worse yet, believes them--is singularly unfit to be in office.
I don't think she lost the debate, but I though she could have done more to paint Trump as an utter lunatic. I'm not sure Trump appeared worse than what everyone already thought he was.
