It's sad and morbid, but Posnanski is still absolutely right: what if Allen (78), Oliva (82) or Kaat (81) aren't around for the next Hall class? Heck, what if some of the voters aren't?
At least the Phillies aren't waiting, even if there won't be fans there.
Seems to me that they could arrange to get this done. It does not involve a large crowd. I absolutely would be disappointed if one or more of these men missed seeing this happen.
